Who is behind Moniel?

My name is Monika Moravčíková and I founded the e-shops Sleepee and Monbaby, which you may already know. However, ever since I was a child, I dreamed of having my own brand, so I decided to follow my dream and created the brand Moniel. Several powerful motivations drive my work thanks to which I learn everything along the way and which make it all work. These motivations are my two wonderful children, my husband whom I can always rely on, and the desire to learn new things and push my own limits.

Why was Moniel created?

I founded the Moniel brand with one main idea in mind. I wanted to create a brand that would be here for children, mothers, and their most beautiful moments. Whether these are moments spent together, with family, with loved ones, or moments a mother has just for herself. In all these moments, Moniel can accompany you and be there for you.

What are Moniel products like?

I design Moniel products so that they are not only beautiful but above all practical, functional, and sustainable. I created every Moniel piece in a way that I would want to wear it myself or dress my own children in it. Women's clothing can be worn during pregnancy, while breastfeeding, throughout motherhood, and even many years after giving birth. Children’s clothing is designed to grow with the child so that it lasts as long as possible. We handcraft our clothing in the Czech Republic from natural materials. Everything is packed in minimalist and eco-friendly packaging because we truly care about our nature and do not want to harm it through our production. Our products are sustainable and made with love for every thread, for nature, for motherhood, and for you – our customers.

Team of seamstresses

Our talented seamstresses sew Moniel pieces for you in our workshop in Moravia. Each individual product is sewn with absolute care that you will notice at first glance and feel at the first touch.

Lenka & Pepa

Partners who love mountains, nature, skiing, cycling, and each other. They have been married for 33 years and lovingly prepare and pack your packages so they arrive on time and in perfect condition. They are careful, thoughtful, and always right. They are my parents and I am incredibly grateful for everything they do for me and for you.

Verča

Always in a good mood, smiling, and full of energy. She is an amazing mother, friend, my right hand, and your support. She takes care of you – our customers. She answers your questions and ensures that we always have enough products in stock for you. She is interested in a non-toxic home, enjoys running, and loves good food.

Adel

A wonderful mom, friend, and the star of our social media. She manages our social networks where she creates beautiful content for you and answers your questions. She takes beautiful photos and videos. She is creative, fun, and always up for a laugh. She loves fashion and life, and you can see it for yourself on her Instagram.

Terez

A lover of nature, camping, yoga, and a healthy lifestyle. Terez is a wonderful mother of two children, a friend, and a marketing specialist thanks to whom you learned about Moniel. She takes great photos, shoots videos, creates interesting content and graphics, and helps me with many other activities and challenges that we come up with for you.

Michal

One of the few men in our team who can fix anything at home and in our e-shop. He helps me solve technological challenges and ensures that the e-shop works exactly as it should. He is a great father and my husband. He enjoys creating new things, good food, traveling, and nature.

Eli & Tom

Our two children who are a great inspiration and driving force for me. They carefully test all Moniel products and put them through the toughest stress tests. Only when our products pass their demanding tests can they go on sale. They are unstoppable little forces of nature, jokers, and my life companions through good and difficult times.

Buddy

A very important member of our family. Thanks to him we stay in shape because he regularly eats a good portion of our food supplies. Simply a typical, constantly hungry beagle. He is our companion and the best friend of Eli and Tom. He happily assists with product testing and participates in stress tests.

Monika

I am a certified lactation consultant, mother of Eli and Tom, wife of Michal, and the founder of Moniel. I design new collections, ensure everything works as it should, and take care of our entire team. I love nature, camping, sports, and challenges. My current challenge is building the Czech brand Moniel that supports mothers not only in breastfeeding but also in a healthy lifestyle, positive thinking, and enjoying every moment. I want to offer mothers products that are not only beautiful but also practical, sustainable, and of the highest possible quality.

 

So this is us. One big family and one big group of friends.
