Sustainable Fashion Moniel
Sustainability at Moniel is not just a fashionable buzzword that we use simply because it is currently "trending". Sustainability is our mission, our mantra and our daily goal. We create fashion for you that is truly sustainable and that from the very first thread to the final finishing touches of our products.
What does sustainability actually mean?
It means environmentally responsible production of a product from the selection of materials to the sewing itself, which does not burden our planet. It means eco-friendly storage, packaging and transportation of parcels. It is the way we treat our employees as well as you, our customers.
Sustainable e-shop Moniel
We are very happy that our hard work has also been noticed by the Sustainable E-shop project and that we were awarded the SUSTAINABLE E-SHOP CERTIFICATE. This project was created in cooperation with the Asociace společenské odpovědnosti, independent price comparison platform Heureka, companies Visa and Komerční banky. The Sustainable E-shop project supports online stores that act responsibly, environmentally and sustainably.
Obtaining the Sustainable E-shop certificate is not easy and is subject to strict evaluation and control. We therefore greatly appreciate that we succeeded and became one of the Czech sustainable businesses.
Why did we succeed?
We use eco-friendly materials – our products are made from natural materials that are rapidly renewable and their cultivation has minimal impact on the environment
We manufacture sustainably – all our products are manufactured in the Czech Republic, our seamstresses do their work with love, in pleasant working conditions and receive fair compensation
We package and store responsibly – we only use recycled and recyclable packaging, mainly made from recycled cardboard that can be reused again
We minimise and sort waste – we reuse supplier boxes, we prepare packaging filling ourselves and therefore do not create unnecessary waste, packaging remnants that can no longer be used are carefully sorted and recycled
We choose responsible carriers – our partners are logistics companies that minimise their carbon footprint
We save water and energy – we have solar panels on the roof of our warehouses, we only use lighting when necessary, we use the most energy-efficient LED lights, we save water and use rainwater for part of our operations
We have great employees – we are one big team, we treat each other kindly, with mutual respect, trust and without stress, we offer flexible working hours, we care about work-life balance and support family life
We have responsible material suppliers – we carefully select only the best partners and build long-term friendly partnerships, we think long-term and lead by example
We have the best customers – we always treat them individually and kindly and do everything possible to ensure they are satisfied with their purchase
We resolve complaints immediately – we do not wait for the legal 30-day period, but we resolve everything immediately
Stress-free returns – we allow returns within a longer period than 14 days
We are fair – we always act honestly, unfair marketing practices are foreign to us and artificial price increases followed by fake discounts are not something you will find with us
We help – we cooperate with foundations and charitable organisations, to which we provide financial and material donations
We are transparent – just as we communicate with you, we communicate internally as well, we are honest and we truly do what we say
A sustainable way of operating is natural for us and behaving responsibly is simply eco-logical. We can do all this mainly thanks to you, our customers. Thank you for your support, your kind messages and every order you place. Thanks to you we can do what fulfils us. Thank you for being here.
